Highfields Nursery, Little Tey, Colchester gives inspiration and expert assistance to clients so they can achieve their design aspirations and meet budgetary requirements.
Highfields Nursery is a family run wholesale plant nursery and was founded by Hans Krayesteyn in 1997. Hans has studied horticulture in Holland and has many years experience in horticulture and garden design.
Over the last twenty years Highfields nursery has grown and now produces more than 20,000 specimen shrubs, climbers, select perennials and a wide range of topiary feature plants every year (over 350 varieties). All plants are given generous growing space and are drip irrigated to produce consistently high quality plants.
We are also able to source planting lists as have close links to nurseries around europe and in the UK.

Open Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30
Closed weekends and bank holidays.
Collections and visits by appointment only
Please note that due to high demand, we are unable to accomodate any private plant requests at this time.
Visits and collections
As we are a wholesale nursery, our gates remained closed to the public. Visitation is available strictly on an appointment only basis. Visitors who arrive without an allotted appointment will be turned away.
When possible we ask for you to pre-order your plants in advance by email. For pre-order request and wholesale appointment bookings please email info@highfieldsnursery.co.uk.
When we recieve your order request, we will then get your order ready and will direct you to where your order is so you can load it into your vehicle. When you arrive, please call 07511 772327 and someone will come and meet you.
